My New Time Attack Car Build Thread

I decided to start a new project. I finally graduated college in May and have some spare time now and over the winter to devote to a new build. I decided to build a Super Unlimted/ST1 Nasa car to run with the Z06's and Vipers. I picked an E36 chassis BMW for obvious reasons but it was a tough decision between that and an FD. It all came down to intial cost and the RX7's are just over priced. The BMW is a proven chassis and well I have three other ones at the moment lol. I found a deal I couldn't pass up and picked up a 93 318is with a near perfect body aside from the paint. It also already had a carbon fiber hood and trunk which will help with what I plan to do. So I drove the car home and once it was in the driveway I started working on it almost immediately. Every piece of interior is out of the car with the exception of the dash. The 1.8ltr 4 is out and for sale. The engine bay will be ready for paint next weekend and the engine might be in my garage tomorrow. This car will be a quick car I assure you. I plan to embarrass some some Z06 race cars if possible

Here's what it will hopefully look like. Not quite sure on the PTG widebody. I might make my own flares to fit the wheels under. The wheels are more important than the widebody at this point. I gotta have some rubber underneath this thing.
I'll try to keep this thread updated as the build continues. The next step is to get my mounts and get the engine in the car. I will then start on the daunting task of building m?y own harness for the AEM. Thanks for checking it out.
