If not tuned w/o an fmu that may be the reason b/c you're hittin boost and not pullin enough fuel...

Is the ECU for a Vtec motor?

I'd get tuned on a p28... Thats my plan for my boosted z6...

I tried an FMU and the missing link on my setup at first. Neither one helped it run very well. Your best bet is to get it tuned, its worth the money.

Could be blowin the spark out...try closin the gaps. May not help considerin u r untuned but...when the car hits boost cyl pressures rise and the spark can literally be dissipated.

Ooooooooor his plugs are too hot...

What plugs and what gap are you running?

Need bkr7e gapped at .22

I still think not having the fmu may have something to do w/ it... FMUs and missing links are half ass ways to do it... You need a p28 and get tuned...

keep runnin that thing without a tune and see how long it lasts.....esp. when your goin w.o.t. to 5k rpms. NOT a good idea bro. dont take it past 2-3k until you get the ecu chipped and tuned (p28). that shit is gonna lean out and pop
