Do some research, this is a very complex subject. There are different types of LSDs for different uses (road racing, drag racing, street driving, etc) so you should get a good feel for the different types and their pros and cons before you buy. Some of those are driving performance pros/cons, some of those are servicing and adjustment pros/cons.
For example, that Spoon LSD is a clutch-type LSD, which is nicely adjustable (internally) but is subject to clutch and plate wear over time. If it needs a rebuild, you have to find someone to rebuild it or source the parts yourself (maybe directly from Spoon in Japan). Something like a helical LSD won't necessarily have the same wear problems, etc, but might be more expensive. This is what I mean by pros and cons.
Also, the different types of LSDs have different lockup characteristics, and can have different characteristics under braking and under power.
I don't know if you just want to pick something that you can get a good deal on, so you may not care about all of these things.
I'm actually a Quaife ATB fan myself, if anyone cares.

The first upgrade your going to want to do to the tranny is to replace it with something that has shorter gearing like a gsr tranny. LS tranny will not work well with that engine.

That trans will work fine with that engine, it just isn't ideal. If you're getting the LSD for pretty much nothing, throw it in your trans and call it a day. If you want to get a shorter geared trans, go for it, but it isn't strictly necessary. A tall-geared trans with an LSD is still better than a tall-geared trans without an LSD.
