VTEC on/off switch
my vtec kicksin at 4500 and its quite annoying on the highway, my question is it possible to run the vtec wire from the bay to a switch in the car then back down to the ecu, thus just killing the current and making vtec turn off when i choose? will this mess up the motor at all, cause any problems ect.

VTEC doesnt kick in unless you floor it past vtec engagement, so as long as you arent stomping the accelerator, vtec will not kick in

That is not a true statement and Vtec does not "kick in". That term is so stupid sounding.
