Default Best bang for buck????

Hey... if you had around 8 grand to spend what would be about the best car you could get for that?

no mods... stock. but something you could mod. it would have to have low mileage. and gotta think about hp/tq and handling breaking, and reliability and all that fun stuff.

thanks for your oponions ! saving up for a new car... just dont know what it will be yet so throw down some ideas!

integra, but on the other hand i like stock turbo cars that take well to slightly cheaper modifications instead of having to buy a 3k dollar turbo kit for a honda, like the talon or eclipse, but im a honda guy, but i love a stock turbo car that you can see big improvements by getting a downpipe and some intercooler piping upgrades, im thinking of buying a stock talon myself for my daily driver.........

He asked for best bang for the buck;

You're selling your LS for $6k.

I'm selling my Formula for $6k.

Want to run and see which makes more since in this thread?

If I had $8k, and wanted something fast..

I'd get an LT1 z28/ttop automatic, gears, stall, intake, exhaust, headers, cam, good bit of n2o, and drag radials.

Automatic LT1's are quite a bit cheaper than 6spds, so that might be doable for around $8k. May go over that a little bit, I dont know what gears or a stall costs.

yeah ... lets run clear across the US and see how many more times you have to fill up your gas tank, and how much more it cost you, sorry i would rather pay 14 dollars and fill my tank for 350+miles then 40 some

I typically equate best bang for buck with performance.

If you want to argue over gas mileage we're both idiots and should just buy a Hybrid.
Guess he should be a bit more specific.

I'm trying to get rid of mine for the reasons you stated, so it doesnt really bother me, I couldve sworn I read best bang for buck performance wise then I looked up and it wasnt said like that..bah.

Art = let us know more specific shit.

domestic I'd get what I said previously..

import I'd get a 1g GSX, and dump that shitload of cash leftover into it. Or a 240.

a4 LT1 z28 =$5,000

gears, long tubes, drag radials, cold air, stall, nitrous and ignition setup for the gas = low 12 second car for $7500 and will still be very streetable. gas mileage wont be bad at all, and it'll walk the hell out of 99% of the cars on the road along with sounding nice.

LT1... just do it
