A few friends were planning on driving up to the mountains again November 7th, which is a Saturday. We're starting in Williamsburg and heading out past Charlottesville to cruise on Skyline Drive. Wondering if anyone else would be interested in going along for the drive?

Here's the route, which is basically the same as last time except we're headed south and climbing about 1000 ft. higher in elevation.

I received a few PM's about this trip so I'll update this.

I've been busy the last week or two and I've been to Florida and back. So I was somewhat out of the loop on times and stuff. But we've had a few complications including one of my own. So I think we're putting this off until the first Saturday in December, which is December 5th. Hopefully that doesn't conflict with anyone that was looking to join us this weekend.

Hopefully this gives more people a chance to come though. Please post here if you're interested so we can get an idea of who and what is going.

So far I think it's still on for the 5th. Getting together tonight with a couple people to figure out times probably.

We'll all meet up around Richmond I think, but there's a group of us leaving from Williamsburg so let me know who wants to meet up around Williamburg or who is will just go straight to Richmond.

Frost or I'll probably post with more details in the next day or so. But meanwhile, anyone have any 2-way radios/walkie-talkies? I have 4 that I'll be bringing, cause trying to communicate for any reason by phone with crappy reception up there doesn't work too well.

 

I wasn't able to get in contact with anyone that was looking to go at all this week. So, good thing the weather is going to be sucky, 'cause the way things went I don't think this was going to come together...

I don't see this being postponed to Sunday or next week either, We'll probably see this trip pop up again in the spring.
