Default Rifle Ranges... where, how much, cal.limits?

Im looking for information and suggestions on some ranges to try out. Ive been to Bob's but only used pistols and revolvers there. I now have my grandpa's Colt AR so I need somewhere that accepts rifles. Im going to try Shooters and A&P today I guess. I also have a Mossberg 590 ill be using.

Also, my shooting buddy has a new 50cal black powder, but we dont feel like hopping from range to range to find one that will allow it, some dont. Any suggestions on where to shoot that would be helpful. Indoor and outdoor are fine.

List any gun or caliber restrictions you can think of.
Location and if its indoor or outdoor
Max Yardage
Can you bring your own ammo
Do they sell ammo

So far im thinking of Joining http://www.airfieldshootingclub.org/. Its a private club, come and go as you please, and around $125 to get started and $75 a year after plus 8hrs a year community service (helping out at the range) it seems pretty good. Its in Wakefield. Guests, and spouses are also free to come with you.

Thanks for any info, +rep waiting

Lafayette Gun Club
www.4lgc.org
They recently lifted the membership cap, I don't know how high it is now but my understanding is there is currently room.
Grafton (basically Yorktown, ~15 minutes from Ft. Eustis)

Indoor Range - Pistol calibers & .22lr only. 24/7 365 - up to 50 ft
Outdoor Range 1 - 25/50 yard - no .50 cal. (I'll have to look at the rules next time I'm there, there might be some elephant calibers not allowed either, but anything that you normally see is allowed that much I know)
Outdoor Range 2 - 100 yard - no .50cal (and again I need to double check the rules on elephant guns)
Outdoor Ranges are 10am to dusk (noon-dusk on Sundays)

Shotgun range - Trap, wobble trap, 5 stand - ROs only scheduled for weekends noonish-dusk, but an RO can open up any time before dusk and often there are retirees there on Tues/Wed/Thurs - you pay $3 per 25 clays here ($5 for non-member guests).

The only thing sold here is soda and candy from vending machines (clays aren't sold, it's a fee for use, but you can't go and buy a box of clays from them). Target frames are provided. Need to bring your own targets, staple gun/staples, guns, ammo, eye protection, ear protection.

A current member must give you a reference to join.
