Beat a reckless?
yea, can anyone spare me some tips on beating a reckless ticket, or really just minimizing the fines? the court date is still 4 months away so i have time, and my records clean, but $2500 plus 1 year suspension max... kinda scary.
70 in a 45, in the county.

My roommate got a reckless last....I think it was Jan of '02 or something. Anyways, he got Ken Stolle(I'm sure you know who he is) as his lawyer. Paid an assload, but he got out of the ticket off of technicalities. So my advice to you is, get a lawyer. Let him do the talking. If you have no previous tickets, that will help as well. As far as the technicality and how my roommate got off, the cop failed to identify the defendant in the courtroom

i got pull over for having my license plate showing up by my windshield, and they cop tryin to accuse me of speeding, then asked me to see my license. "lost my wallet that day too", end up with a ticket for driving without a license.. how mess up is that..

Actually, the lawyer told him NOT to take the DI course before the court date. Yeah, I would have thought of taking it before hand as well.
Yep, I got pulled over last wk, first time in 7 years, for altered exhaust and blahblah mounted front license plate. FFX Cty cops can lick a dick(mine). I wouldn't be so pissed about it, but the situation was just ridiculous.
Oh, I'm taking off my downpipe and exhaust, it's up for sale guys. Lol.

I wouldn't take the driver education course before the court date, when you go there, it's just one less thing you could bargain with the judge car.
If you've had a clean record for so long, I bet you could get it reduced down to either speeding or disobeying a highway sign w/ the right lawyer
