240sx coupe speed sensor not wired
Ok, so I just got this car, and I want to wire up the Speed Sensor so the odometer works. I'm a honda guy, so this might be vague
On rear of transmission: One connector, two horizontal metal pieces in a clearish-yellow plastic housing. both of the wires are yellow. not sure what it is
Near the front of the transmission: One connecter, two horizontal metal pieces in a clearish-yellow plastic housing, both of the wires are black. also not sure what it is.
All I know is it is swapped. There are a bunch of grey connectors hanging around the tranny but neither of them pair up with what is actually on the tranny. do I need to spice them?
Here's a picture of the swap for reference:

Thanks in advance.

not my pic, 5 second google image search. Hes pointing at the speed sensor, I believe it's a two wire plug that goes straight to your trans harness.

heringtons correct, your odometer does NOT need to work to pass inspection.

The speed sensor is simple. Its a two wire connection that goes from the speed sensor up to an 8 wire connection by the engine bay fuse box. In between this there is a 2 prong connector with wire colors Yellow/blue and Yellow/black.
