In Buffalo I spend a lot of my time in the Allentown district



it is home to beautiful architecture, primarily Italianate. In addition to shops and coffeehouses there are numerous small galleries, etc. I mostly go there for the nightlife, where they have dive bars attended by the eclectic type. playing great music from blues and bluegrass to jazz, bars with dj's play everything from the Cure to Of Montreal. I like the artsy girls in skinny jeans. My friend told me to look for fixed gear bikes and I'd be alright, haha.

So I may be in denial about being a hipster, but I still love hipster girls.

My friend suggested Ghent in Norfolk is the area I would likely be into. Anyone hang out in that area? Any suggestions?

edit: also I'm pretty into architecture and urban planning (what I went to school for) so if there are any lectures or tours I'd be down for that as well

I dont see many trendy people around ghent. mainly very attractive women jogging in spandex. Or fags walking their dogs since they cant have children.
