A few good questions were asked from a buyer that I forgot to post so here you go:
More info on the 16v out of the GLi. I do also have the computer out of the GLi to go with it, and I still need to pull the wiring harness. The mileage is a guess at around 140k-150k the cluster was removed before I bought the car, the title says 130k. Again with the computer it makes this a complete engine with tranny, all it needs is a valve cover. I bought the car in hopes of repairing the body and keeping it as a 16v GLi but the body was not repairable, so I kept the engine as a spare. The car was not wired or able to test to see if it ran, but I was told by the seller it was in good condition that the car was just damaged on the front end. So it shouldn't need much to start it up just new seals and belts to be safe. This is all I know on the GLi engine.

Any other questions I'll answer the best I can

Ttt, ok I want this thing gone. It has 2 weeks left before it goes for scrap because I am putting the 16v in the Corrado and don't need the shell sitting around. If there is interest in it but a deposit isn't laid done this car is still going to scrap, there have been too many tire kickers for me to hold out getting rid of it.

For 300 flat you get the shell with the extra parts and a stock mk1 engine and tranny from another rabbit. Also you can either take or take parts off of another rabbit that is too badly rusted to restore for free. The main parts needed from it would be the shift linkage to switch over to the shell. The rabbit engine can easily be carbed if you don't have another engine you want to put in it.

Pictures of inside and out are on photobucket, you can see how good of a shape it is in. Just jump on this before april 10th, after that its to the junk yard. If you have an offer other than 300 let me know and I may take it.
