my girlfriend was driving going about 35 and the engine check light came on and the car just died in the middle of the road. Car is completely stock and has 41,000 miles. i had her turn the car on and when its on the engine shakes violently. Then it sounds like a belt is squealling then it shuts off. Any idea?

 

 

If it's an 06, there will be stored trouble codes in the ECU. Get them retrieved with an OBD2 scanner and then go from there.

 

just to let everyone know there is a recall on the 06 1.8l Ex auto tension Pivot Bolt. Get to Honda before your car get stuck on the side of the road as well.
