Default D series help needed

my buddy just bought a hatch with a d15 SOHC non-vtec and is trying to put a vtec head on it would a d16 vtec head fit and/or what would, and what would be needed to complete the head swap ie. vtec harness, pcm, anything else?

Well what would you recommend for him he is kinda short on money so he would want the most cost efficient swap for his money but still run like a champ

u can put a d16 head on it itll make it a mini me all u need is the vtec harness and vtec computer

B-series is the only way.....cost efficient and reliable. Mini-me's are pointless unless adding a turbo kit and D turbos are expensive if done right and cheap if done wrong... but wont last long making it UNreliable. Your call....

yeah u can put a d16 head on a d15 block but 2 get the most bang 4 ur buck get a ebay turbo or a b-series swap
