b16a sir starting problems

Default b16a sir starting problems

i have a b16a sir swap on boost and currently have=ing trouble strarting , when i turn the key over radio cuts on (a given) but when i flip on the headlights radio cuts off and or gets dim and lights are dim to when i look at them i dont know what the problem is at all maybe need a new harness or what someone tell me and if you have a obd1 wiring harness lmk

everythought battery is dead, just not all way dead, meaning you don't have enough voltage to turn the starter over. check that. try jumping your car, maybe your alternator is dead leading to draining the battery

Could be a corroded ground, it isn't always the battery's fault.. Check the battery voltage.

do oddessy batterys go dead quick cause thats what i have

and it wouldnt be the wiring harness would it ?

check your ground on thermostat housing.

i was thinking ground to but he says he turns the lights on there dim and it kills the radio so obvisouly battery is dying... but why bad alt?

yeah when i flip the lights on it kills everything even my vafc too

i said bad alt, because he could of put a new battery in or batery in it now can be fairly new and altern. Could be draining it due to bad alt. which would make the car run off the battery until is loses enough voltage to make it start.

Have you not fixed it yet? Put a battery in it and try it.
