Default 1978 Honda Civic Project

Bought it for $150 a couple of weeks ago, its a total mess but for its age its low on miles, 92k original miles and it runs like a champ. Anyhow this is going to be a some what retortion project for me. Plans are trying to source as many orignal interior parts as possible and then making changes to suite my likes. Here is the before pictures...and yes that is an original wood grain steering wheel, that will be staying

...and after two days of hard work, decided I wasn't gonna sand the body down completely, just get it clean enough for spray paint. Just wanted to get the exterior presentable and to a point where it would preserve the metal. However i did bondo up some holes and really rough spots.

...pulled the seats out for an interior before and after. Seats from a 96+ Civic, more comfortable.

you needed to take that down to bare metal and prep it before primer...and you need to cut out the rust holes instead of cacking with bondo....

all you did was waste some time and money on primer...its going to have to be stripped all back off to do it right

That is what I did. Apparently what I said about preserving the metal was not a thorough enough explanation for you....some people assume too much.

May or may not do that after I find the old school BMW BBS wheels. But fender flares are more than likely going to find their way on
