Rest of the car is obviously so horrid they did not want the press to have photos of it.

Apparently that's what most bf.c members think.













5 series styling has, up until this point, gone downhill with each generation after the E34 (sorry buddy ). I'd place this about on par with an E39 (maybe slightly less good looking), and a gooood bit better than the E60.

I agree completely.

This big-body style that the new era of cars (including BMW) has adopted has been perpetually pissing me off/disappointing me for the last 5-7 years or so.

With the drastic change the F01 came with, you had to figure the rest of the series below would get a similar makeover. Even the E89 (new Z4) has the similar grill from the F01.
