Default Do leathers keep you warm in winter?

I'm trying to get a leather jacket and some leather pants (maybe on black Friday?). My mesh jacket even with the liner sucks when its under 50 and my armored jeans also suck when its cold So is non-vented leather my solution? Or will I still be cold? I've heard mix reviews.

I wear a thermal and a tee then my leather with the liner vest thing, and my upper body is usually never cold. A big thing is that you make sure something is covering your neck so wind doesn't get down into your jacket.

Leather is uber effective a wind blocking, so you do retain heat. My top is never "cold" but I am not by any means a raging inferno.

Haven't bought leather yet, just have textile pants and jackets that I mainly wear.

Even with my non-perforated leathers, I still wouldn't ride in low to mid 40's.

Perforated leather is getting kinda chilly, even with a liner

Either gonna get a northface fleece jacket ($160) to go underneath; any more layers have proved bulky, or gonna buy another leather cut.

Mix reviews go figure. Im just thinking about getting leathers b/c I wanna commute to work. I have one of those "things" that covers ur face and part of your neck but it still gets cold. Is the only way to stay warm to super layer up or get that electric warming stuff?
