primering a car
i think its very tacky and ugly to ride around with a primer car or primer parts...but its what i have 2 do...i dont feel like letting my bubble sit til february for a paint job or letting it sit til i find a teal front...so...whats the process of primering a car...

Sand it down with 220 to bare metal Then use a tack cloth to wipe it off . Before sanding go get yourself some wax/grease remover and whip w/e you are sanding down . Repeat wiping it down with wax/grease remover after sanding . Then find a primer that is based on the type of paint the parts will be sprayed with . Dont just go grab some rattle cans and spray it . All of that will have to be stripped and reprimed later if you do .Apply the primer with a spray gun .
this black primer and gray primer look way better than any spray can will do you and both of these cars had rettle can primer on them which had to all come off along with the sanding to the rest of the cars . But point is a prime that goes with the paint that will be used is prefered.
