Default Radford Flooding

With all the rain here at Radford this morning there were signs in the dorm about flooding in the Z lot and telling them they had to move it. This lot is right next to the New River for those that don't know about radford. Well when i went down there the whole lot was flooded. I would guess that about 50 cars had water up to there door and a couple all you saw was the atenna. My friends car was one of the lucky ones but another budy of mines sonoma had water above his bead and mid way up the windows. I got pics and will post soon. Anyone else see this site?

Man, I bet there are more then 50 cars in there, my roomates being one of them. When I went to move mine the water was just starting to come up, it was about 3 feet from my car. I am so lucky that I had to be somewhere at 7:30 and had to drive, otherwise I wouldnt have moved it.

RU never sent out any notification telling students to move their cars

they're gonna have to pay for all of it

All they did this time was post it in the residential halls, with very little warning time. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I went down there at 11:30 tonight, all you can see is the very tops of the roofs of the cars. I counted about 7 cars/trucks that I could see, and that was barely half of the parking lot. I had to move my car twice, but I was lucky.

no shit? then i'm sure somehow they'll be able to get out of it legally, but that's still pretty shitty of them.

i just went down there about 3am, cops had it blocked off and wouldent let anyone in.

I doubt RU will have to pay for it. I'm sure this is somehow covered under insurance.

It looks like Radford is holding an information session at 2 in Heth for people who's cars got damaged.
