Yeah, you're coming with me right? The Miata would do great out their with those RA1's.

Definitely an awesome event, with lots of track time.

You can count me in for this one too! The bird loves the patriot course! Jason, think I can get you guys to haul my tires up for me? so I don't have to trailer the car again? Speaking of tires, I need some for next year, got any takeoff's you need to unload?

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem.

As for takeoff's, not sure yet. Working on some deals. I'll let you know.

Just read the rules and classifications for 2010, only question I have is... why is alcohol water mix not permitted (for injection systems)?.

See yall there!

Safety reasons. Straight water or off-the-shelf washer fluid are ok. If it is anything more volatile, or any sort of custom mixture, then it is prohibited for NASA-X and TT, because it's potentially flammable/spillable.

For HPDE, technically it's ok as long as it meets this rule in the 2010 CCR ( http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf see page 62 ):

11.4.22 Alcohol Injection
Tanks containing alcohol (e.g. methanol) that exceed 50% alcohol by volume must carry
an FIA FT3 (or higher) rating and be installed per fuel cell regulations found in CCR
Section [Ref15.4)]. Tanks containing 50% or less alcohol by volume may use any
container per the manufacturer’s instructions or recommendations. Under all
circumstances tanks or containers must be mounted in an area that is separated from
the driver by a bulkhead or firewall.

ah ok, thanks for the clarification. I was scared there for a second. I use windsheild washer fluid, -20 degree is about 35% methanol.

Merry Christmas!
