port matching my intake

Re: port matching my intake
Yes, you need to port match it. From my experience skunk2 designed it to open up to barely accommodate a 64mm tb size. I would suggest getting the intake ports matched also as it doesn't match the oem gasket 100% I want to say around 90-95% which is still pretty good compared to others.
here's one I worked with for a B16a/b18c5

Here's the addition pictures you requested.
You can see the gasket outline I made on the ports. Also notice the "knobs" in the runner roof and floor. Those are the main areas that need to be cleaned up imo.

Re: port matching my intake
Are you going to make a thread about every aspect of this build? Just wondering.
So far you have threads on:
I'm going to start merging threads pretty soon; some of this can easily be consolidated.
And I still think you should keep your ITR manifold, there isn't any reason not to.
So far you have threads on:
- Fuel system sizing for an ITR swap
- Hose routing for an ITR swap
- Intake manifold upgrade for an ITR swap
- Port matching the upgraded intake manifold for an ITR swap

Re: port matching my intake
if your intake manifold isnt ported the same as your larger tb then yes, what would be the point in the first place if you arent going to port match
my question is... does an intake port really matter if you do it by hand or real port?
