96 prelude w/f22 the idle bounces from 1000rpms upto 2400rpms I have tried a new IACV but that didnt solve the problem = can somebody give some input on what else to do =.

traced vacuum and havent found any leaks

-Is the coolant level correct?

-When you replaced the IACV, did you make sure both coolant hoses were re-attached properly?

-What made you think it was the IACV? Check engine light for it?

-How did you trace a vacuum leak? By ear? or with a spray solvent and listened for idle change? Smoke tester?

I sprayed vacuum lines no leak, there was no CEL but I changed IACV because in my old car thats what cause this issue. Coolent lvl is right and coolent lines on iacv are hooked up

Any recent work done to the cooling system?

I.e,

thermostat
radiator
cooling fan
headgasket
temperature switch
E.C.T
Hoses?

Thermostat done recently, hoses where done in summer and also flushed cooling system, havent changed any sensors just cause thy seem to be working good and also didnt think they would give idle probs
