:( torsion bars lowering
1992 Toyota pickup 2wd single cab.
Trying to lower the front end but its a torsion bar setup. Now ive heard that at the basically middle of the truck where the bars end their 2 bolts and ontop of the bar their is 2 nuts. Ive heard that all you need to do is work the nuts up the shaft (lolz) and by doing that on each side it lowers the front end, CAN anyone confirm or deny ?
Tried loosing the nuts and actually broke a few ratches the bitches wont budge.

look for torsion keys, they'll be indexed in degrees to lower your ride height but keep some quality...
i had a '00 mazda pickup that i slammed with torsion bars...i actually flipped the torsion keys, and was lowered front/rear about 5/7...but every time i went over a speed bump it felt like my heavy truck was being balanced on toothpicks...didnt feel safe...
you CAN uncrew the torsion bolts to change the ride height, that's actually a reason the suspension is like that, but going to an extreme is unsafe.
make sure you keep the number of bolt turns even on both sides...an inch of bolt turning DOESNT equal an inch of ride height

the only option in my opinion, if you wrench the bars or get new keys you will greatly increace the stress on the front end. not to mention throwing the camber off greatly
If I were to do it I'd go w/ a drop spindle and a lowering keys along w/ new shocks for that ride height...
yea im just scraping by with funds and most the stuff i find online for yotas , especially superchargers are down right ridiculous when it comes to the pricing of it
Whats it got in it? 22r?
