Default clearing head light haze

i recently aquired a new front end for my integra so i took off the old front end and noticed how hazy my headlights were ... i got to thinking how i could clear them up and this is what i did, and they look brand f'n new ....

1st i sprayed bleach on them and let them sit for 30 seconds then wiped em down to get the dirt off ...

2nd ( for all you Nitro RC people ) i took the Nitro fuel and put it on a rag and started buffing, this stuff is sooo strong it pulled ALLL the yellow haze right out of the lenses, however leaves a small film ...

and lastly, to remove that small film, i used mineral spirits, then wiped them with a dry cloth and it looks like i have brand new headlights, i wish i would have taken a picture...

Just thought this might help some people that want to rid their headlights of the haze w/o using rubbing compound and scratching them.

Thats what plastic polish does.

With a lot less work.

Yeah....they'll haze back up...sorry. I used a super fine grit sandpaper on my S2000 lights followed by quite a bit of plastic polish...worked even better than your method.
