The Bad: Spun Rod bearing
Ok.I have put this off for a long time. I do not want to get rid of this car. But i have no money to fix it and need a way to and from work. The car has a spun rod bearing. Before that happen i had just installed ARP head studs, Had the head cleaned, shaved, and re-assembled. A new stage 3 xtd clutch. The head has about 200 miles on it and the clutch about 140miles.
I Have had this qouted to get fixed and the machine shop told me $600.That includes...
-Honed cylinders
-new piston rings
-All new acl race bearings
-turn and polish crank
-resize the rod
-re-assemble bottom end
-re-assemble block and head and put in time
I just dont have that kinda money right now. Once Fixed the motor will be like brand new. 0 miles on block and around 200 on head.
I have just bought a full gasket kit(including rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover, and all grommets), oil pump, timing belt with new tensioner. ALL of these parts are BNIB.
I have a stock block that could be put in and ran on low boost untill the Built block is fixed. That will come with the car. Technically this car could be running in a couple days
I have tried to be as honest as i can with this. If nothing comes up soon i will prolly just keep it and fix it when i can. I WILL be adding tons of pictures here shortly.
This is how it used to/and could look again.
How it sits today minus Lip(sorry for crappy cell phone pics, camera is dead but will replace pics soon).

Actually it wasn't. I blew a head gasket and that did the damage to the bottom end . The parts pictured are eBay but I'm trying to fix it on a budget
