I am so pissed off right now, I got my car from tippits in the beinning of March....as soon as the 12,000 mile warranty was up, my engine blew to pieces due to a faulty timing belt they installed...when the honda place was taking out the engine, they found that I had a bad water pump, clutch, flywheel and a cracked radiator.... then a cv joint went about a few weeks later...now, my tranny is locked up....My car ran perfectly fine until the 12,000 miles were up, now everything is wrong with it...some of the stuff may be routine, but for all of it to go at once like this is pretty weird.... and I talked to Columbo at the prelude meet who told me his lude started fuckin up from them too....so buyers beware of tippits, because I have paid about as much for fixing my car as I did for how much I bought which was $8,000...The bright side is, atleast my car is nearly brand fuckin new.....

Anyone esle have similar problems????

my old del sol had body damage and they tired to respray the car to cover things up

friends hatchback has rear damage, his latch cant shut right

dude tippits jacks up prices so high....its like 5000 for an 89 crx??? wtf

 

my friend bought a 96 GSR from them.. needless to say the engine has been rebuilt several times. the transmission housing was also cracked, half the shit on the car was bad. it had super thick oil to hide engine noise, it also blew tons of smoke out. man he got ripped off. tippits sucks ass.

dam, never buy a car from them cheap car lots....go to the dealer id rather buy from a private seller than tippits...oh well to late now.
