For all pre-payable Criminal, Civil, and Traffic offences in the State of Virginia, click on the link below, select the county or city you received the violation, put in your name (Last name first), then click search.

(It can take up to 5-7 business days to post online after you receive the violation. Also, you must prepay 5 business days before your court date. After 5 days you must prepay in person, on the phone, or go to court.)


Chesapeake

Chesapeake, does not have their fines posted online. Therefore you must use the pre-payable link at the very top, and follow the process as if you’re going to pay to find the total of your ticket. There is also a link to general information on Chesapeake General District Court.

Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach has “some” of the pre-payable offences online. On the web page it provides you with cost for the offence. You must scroll to the bottom of the page and add the processing fee and per violation fee to your total cost. (In my personal experience, if you pay have multiple violations for the same traffic stop. Go to the courts in person and you “may” only be charged the processing fee once if you pre-pay all the tickets at once)

Norfolk

To get to the cost of the violation on Norfolk’s web page you will need to click on the type of violation it is. Find your violation, go back to the link above and add the processing fee and per ticket fee.

Portsmouth

Portsmouth has nothing on their website about Traffic court (No cost of violations). You will have to follow the pre-payable link at the top, as if you’re going to pay to get the cost of your ticket. I have provided and web link to general information of Portsmouth General District Court.

Hampton

Hampton has no costs of violations listed on their web page. You will have to follow the pre-payable link at the top, as if you’re going to pay to get the cost of your ticket. I have provided and web link to general information of Hampton General District Court.

Newport News
