I recently bought a civic with a 3'' catback exhaust (I have no idea of the brand or make, and the previous owner didn't know either). I'm tired of the attention from the police so I'd like to either trade it straight up for a stock catback, or have someone recommend me a shop (around VB) that can quiet it down for cheap.
I tried one place, but they said $450 for a new catback..rofl. Can an exhaust shop just chop off the muffler and put a quieter one on? I know the piping is wider than a stock muffler so that complicates things. Thanks for the advice

I have a 92 civic that has a stock exhaust, I wouldn't mind having it. Hit me up and let me know. You can call me or text if you like. my number is 540-683-9825,

I sent you a text, thanks!
I forgot to mention, the car is a 2000 ex with a b18c1, i don't think the engine swap means the exhaust is different though.
