well I'll give it to you that its in FANTASTIC condition cosmetically, and looks like it has been taken care of. If its on its OEM motor, that Timing belt probably should be changed too... so you're looking at like a few hundred bucks for the timing belt, the water pump and the VC gasket, knock off another hundred for the axles to be changed out, then another hundred or so for a full tune up to ensure it'll stay mechanically sound..
I say the 1500.00 range would be fair for a 16 year old car... that is just me tho, i'm sure you'll disagree or start calling my mom names or whatever... but its just my opinion.

no man, I'm sure your mom is cool, we'll leave her out of this! LOL
thanks for your honest and detailed opinion, your point is taken, dude. as far as everything else, the motor is OEM, the TBelt has been changed, you're looking at $150 for all the parts (it's a civic, you know you can do the work yourself), KBB says it's worth $2,300 something... I really think 2k or so is a good number. and the price is OBO...

just let me know if you're interested, I've had a couple calls about it today but nothing solid yet.
