That would be me, and the only mod that I have for power is a K&N. I was there testing out some new motor mounts. Still had bad wheel hop so I left. My best run there is a 9.3, but since my fist trip I have yet to get rid of the wheel hop. All 3 runs that day I launched and had to let off the gas and shift to 2nd at around 3000 rpm's...

Some people I have talked to think that the lack of track prep may be what’s causing my wheel hop.

Oh wait I forgot there was also one run that day where I stalled on my launch... that was freaking great. It was and experiment with launching in 2nd gear that went horribly wrong. Was that the time you ran me?

no problem, I hope I did not say any thing to insult you. I just get all worked up every time I think about my track days. Things have not been going to well. FWD is a pain to learn how to launch.

yah I was running like 25psi in the tires, but it's stock rubber. I think the rubber has gone hard fast. That problem should be solved now though since Joey just mounted my BFG drag radials to my new wheels. Now I have to find a track or wait till spring to see what’s going on. My first time at the track I cut 2.3's all night with a couple 2.2's. It's been down hill ever since.
