2010 Black Mustang 5-speed V6
* Name: Brett and Melissa
* Location: Yorktown, VA
* Means on contact: Call 757-871-3649
* Trades: No trades, please
* Price: $19,500 OBO
* Description: Up for sale is a new, BEAUTIFUL 5 speed (stick shift) Ford Mustang V6. Blue Book is $21,800. This is a fantastic car. It has 600 miles on it. It's very fast but still economical. The interior is immaculate. We only drive it a few miles a week to keep it from rusting, etc. If you are serious, please contact me and I'll send you some pictures. I won this car in a charity auction-Yes! real people win those! but it is just not a family car. Plus, the taxes are now due too. We need to sell it to be able to cover that $$!

If you are looking for a quick guaranteed sale, Id suggest CarMax. If I won a car that I didnt particularly want, as soon as I got the title and reg done id be there letting them "make me an offer"
That was the first route we took, but we just weren't very satisfied with their offer. So we are looking to see what else we can get.
Im not surprised to hear that. It seems like CarMax has to make a flat $3000 profit on every car it sells. A buddy of mine has sold them like 4 cars and we find the ones they resell they ask about 3k more than what they paid him. So my guess is they offered you around 16500 to 17000.

yea you will have more luck selling it outright than to carmax, they offered me 6500 for my truck which is blue booked at 13k and it only has one scratch on it and hardly the miles it should. Good luck and its good to hear that real people actually win things
