I have a 2008 R6S which was laid down at a low mph. It would take about $500 in parts to get it ridable and legal or over 1000 to get it looking the way it should be. It only has just under 1300 miles on it and looks good other than the scrapes. It is dusty in the pics due to the work we have been doing in our garage but it would clean up nice. The back seat just wasnt pushed down, its not messed up. Engine runs good and it shifts fine. The R6S is considered the more comfortable street bike with better lower end power than the R6.
