I had this custom box built to fit my 02 GTI and it also fit my 03 Jetta after (also fits my MKV but you need some good elbow grease to get it in). It used to be wrapped with a carbon fiber look vinyl though I stripped it off because the finish didn't meet my standards. Buyer may want to look into re-wrapping it or if you get the surface smoothed im sure it would look clean with a spray of rattle can paint! $120obo
