Default Buying tires for first time

I'm buying 2 new tires this week, and pretty sure I'm going to go with michelin pilot power cs2. The bike currently has o.e. bridgestones on it (can't remember particular model), but I have been told the michelins are going to be my best bet and have found both for $241 a piece.

Anyone riding these and is there anything better that I should consider?

I run the Power Road 2CTs, but have heard nothing but good things about the Pilots..... I'm probably going to stick with the Roads, but if I were to ever try anything else it'd be the Pilots first.

I also know someone who will mount them for $20/tire if you bring him the wheels. (+ a little more if you want him to take them off the bike)

Oh yeah, 2cts. Audio that's an awesome price, but I may spend the extra few bucks w/ honda cause they always make life easy for me. They arn't too far off on price, but I'm def. putting that site in my favorites for other stuff. Is their shipping free, bc otherwise it looks like $216 plus tax and shipping to me

Thanks for the input guys, think I'm gonna go with the michelins.

yeah ups ground shipping is free, and they got here the next day for me. They were running a special when i ordered a month or so ago - 201 shipped. but it seems theyve gone back up a tad.

I see, still a great price, but I'll always spend a few more bucks for a good in person relationship in case I need a favor one day.

Thanks for the info guys

I love my Metzler M3's tires. I think they've been replaced now though by the M5's.
