Go to advance auto parts look in the tool section & buy a set of spring compressors for >$40 OR purchase the rental tool compressor set & then get your full refund back when you return it after using it. Easy as that! DIY

Nobody's going to do this for $40.

And FWIW, (and it's a terrible idea, so don't try it) you can remove the oem springs without a spring compressor.

I find a HEAVY blanket and cover the entire assembly (out of the car). Put a foot on the spring, and use your impact to back off the nut.

Spring pops the top right off and the blanket (and foot)parts from killing anyone.

Again, don't try that one.

Once you removed the whole shock/strut/spring setup you put the compressor on there & then tighten it down so the spring lets go of the strut. THen remove it, Takes like 10mins if that. Its the simplist thing you can do on your own car is all. It'll save you some cash & you'll be able to say you did it yourself!

It just slips over nothing hard about it, more thinking you do the more you 'think' its harder than it is.

No problem, IF you get stuck take a photo of where your at & then myself or someone with a good work ethic can walk you through it a little more to make you understand. (DO NOT remove the spring using a blanket) sorry thats just asking for an ER visit & stupid Esp for someone thats never done it before.
