i just installed some coilovers on my car pretty flawlesly yesturday, everyone told me it would be easy & it was:]
i put them on my 99 civic ex, just read up abit or if you cant find anyone i can look, the main thing you will need
is a spring compressor to take the stock spring off the strut, unless you bought the spring & strut, but yeah:]
idk if it will be too diffrent seeing its an audi that youd need to take too a mechanic, but i know it will cost less if you diy x]

Aww, your the guy who I always see pulling out his motor and then reinstalling it later that night, your crazy dude. That shit amazes me all the time. I used to turn wrenches like that, and then I got older and lazy. I have the tools, but this is my first non chevy vehicle and I've already seen plenty of bloody hands on audizine from people who didn't use the spring compressor right, sometimes it's just better to search around for folks who know what they are doing.

hahah ya thats me. like i said id help but i have limited mobility. advance rents spring compressors. I never use them I just set the strut against the curb and let the spring take launch haha. On some vehicles its pretty easy to brake loose the strut and let the spring decompress while its still on the car. Anywho like I said pm sortaSUNK.

I have to post one more time before I can send anyone a PM. I haven't been around the car scene for about 3yrs now. I've seen you and the famous Hard247 beautiful car cruise by plenty of times. Sorry bout that ankle man. With the way it floods right in front of my house, I dunno if I want lowering springs, I had to get up at 1am last night to park in the front, otherwise my car would be toast. Kinda getting old, ready to move.

Now I can PM some people.
