1996 integra lost power on interstate will not start
i was driving my integra home on the interstate when it lost all power and had to get it towed home. when i got it home it seemed like i could still hear the fuel pump turning on, so i dont think its a fuel issue, but i pulled a plug and it isnt getting spark, car will turn over but doesnt fire. maybe it is a coil or something, but any advice someone has is appreciated. its a 96 integra with the original b18. when my dad pulled of the distributor cap, he said that the rotor (rotor button) inside was not turning when i was turning over the engine, so idk if something internally is broke. thanks and id appreciate advice from anyone who might have a clue.

Pull the valve cover to see if your timing belt is broken. Because thats exactly what it sounds like.
And DO NOT turn the motor over anymore until you confirm that it's broken or not. If it is, you don't wanna risk bending any valves.

Yes, leave it alone until you can find out what you're working with. A non-rotating rotor doesn't usually mean good things. Luckily it's really easy to take off the valve cover and look at the timing belt to see if it's broken. You might just have a broken distributor, but either way you don't want to be cranking the engine, period. If you do you risk doing further damage without finding out anything useful.

could still be a coil/ignitor. Either pull the valve cover, or simply remove the oil cap and rotate the crank with a ratchet and see if the cams are moving.
