I have printed out the entire manual on the Haltech ECU anything u need to know about it should be in there.

The bad.
Drivers rear window motor is no good
No cd player at this time
I think it needs to be retuned not sure if you get on it hard it breaks up this is my first turbo car so i dont know alot about it nor do i have the time or money to take it to a shop.

 

Probably does need a tune greg thats obvious but also swapping the plugs could help with the breakin up.

 

Also i forgot in the Thread there is a small dent in the drivers rear door and some paint peel on the drivers front fender. Prolly does need plugs i also changed the distributer since the coil went bad so the timing could be slightly off but workin 6 days a week and 2 kids i aint got time to mess with shyt jpick why dont u do it for me haha

 

It was running perfectly fine when i traded it off less then three months ago...i can gaurentee unless someone has messed with the tune that it is not that.Haltech tuned this car inhouse on their dyno.

It was obvious the tune was rich when he drove off 1st day i seen the car @ work, which would kill a set of plugs quickly. Weather has changed & that could of effected the tune (anybody knows that) Trade me the car greg for the 4door


I'm work 6days a week also fool haha but only got 1 lil man to take care of. If i had a license i'd come scoop it up from you & see what i could figure out. But w/o a license not much a can do until we both get some free time.

 

just puttin it out there i got a cb7 thats a great DD nothin reali is done to it but an intake n dropped on skunk2 springs LMK if u wanna trade

 

The haltech ecu adapts to weather and climate change.The tune was rich because it was a safe dd tune for 10psi.I'm guessing someone who doesn't know anything has had the car,turned the boost up and did not change anything else.

Safe tune or not car was rich as hell, which IMO is not a good tune. But hopefully we can work something out & it'll be in my hands soon, we shall see. EITHER way bump for the OP, def. a good knowledgable person & good guy to know.
