hey, does anyone have the frequincies for newport news police?
i could get them when i go into work monday, but i need em now....i would really appreciate it

 

What type of scanner do you have? I'm pretty sure they're on a really high frequency, I believe you'd need some ueber-expensive equipment to pick it up. I remember my dad explaining their radio junk to me (he's NNPD.) I want to say they also do something to help prevent people picking their traffic up, but I'm not sure.

you have to have a scanner that has trunking capabilities....i have one, and then you have to have the certain codes, which i want(but can get them later)

 

that page up there has alll the fleet codes and the ids thats all you need trust me.

NNPD is on an 800 system you have to have the scanner and a trunking setup. They key up on one channel and the the responce from the officer or dispatcher keys up on another channel, real hard to follow. Its meant to be that way. heh
