I need a front bumper painted. Its already been painted so the only prep will be to scuff it. 1-2 coats of black, 2 coats of clear (just guessing).

All the places I've called have been 200-400. I was looking for something like 100-150.

yeah man... 2 coats black and one clear eh? how big is the bumper ... im thinking 75 bucks or so... maybe 100 max

To me its the same concept sorta with paint . I dont like any other paints. All i have ever used is Dupont and thats all im familiar with. I'll spray any base i dont care, but i want dupont clear, and their sealer. To me, Dupont just makes my job so much easier.

Im used to 4:1 mix ratio which is really thin. It's the clear i use for my all overs, its Dupont's 4700 series Clear. They have a new 4600 series which is a 3:1 mix, and i had hard time adjusting to that and the car i painted was orange peely as a bitch. I spent a whole day just wet sanding the damn thing smooth, shit sucked.

 

Do you have a paint booth, or is it an "out of your garage" type of deal?
