if you own or know somebody who has a 2006-2007 civic si with under 60,000 miles let me know.

i work at a honda dealership and we have been doing a lot of those third gear sets in the transmissions under warranty. a lot of the people that have been coming in said they have had a hard time at local dealerships getting the problem fixed. wont have that problem at my dealership so feel free to pm me.

I tried to take mine to Casey 2 weeks ago and they turned me away. At the time I had 59k I believe. But my parents took my car to Iowa so I'll be over 60k now.

I can vouch first hand here - Got my civic worked on at 29k miles cause of the third gear issue. Was turned down by Casey and other dealerships cause there wasn't a problem. Chris actually asked me about it cause I had given up trying.

Word up. Well find out if theres anything you can do with a car with 67k, otherwise I'm seemingly fucked

 

Hell, my 09 SI is already developing 3rd gear issues...at under 10k miles. As well as other "issues" that the dealership can't seem to hear/find when I take it in...and then it does it when I'm driving it home.

 

Casey Honda broke my drivers side windshield visor, and then told me they want 200 bucks towards a deductible to fix it.
