I recently bought a 2004 VW GLI and need to sell this one unfortunately.
Here's what's done:
Suspension: Tokico Blue Shocks, 20th Anniversary GTI Struts, H&R lowering Springs (1.5 Front 1.75 Rear) Falken, 215/45/R17 tires purchased 5/1/2010. Swapped the 16" BBS wheels for 17" Longbeach Alloys.
Motor: Neuspeed Cold Air Intake, Forge Diverter Valve, Audi TT short shifter, Tuned and Chipped.
Exhaust: Megan Racing Catback
Extras: Front bumper painted at 140k, Headlights restored at 140k, Interior steam cleaned 150k. Window Tint at 120k
Repairs: Coil packs and spark plugs at 140k, 02 sensor at 150k, Water pump and timing belt at 120k, Coolant hoses and oil hoses at 150k, Alignment at 159k, Brakes and Rotors at 159k
Interior: Black/Gray checkered Wolfsburg seats. Sony CD deck double den cd spacer. Aux port and ipod hookup. Mk3 Jetta rubber floor mats. Of course the AC works, power windows, all interior lights work, headlight bulbs recently replaced as well as rear.
The bad: Driver seat is worn on the left side (was like that before i got the car) rock damage on hood. few small dents( like that before i got the car) the paint is pretty rich and the dents aren't noticable in pictures and some aren't even noticable to most people in person.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my car. Its a very reliable car. quick and good on gas, I get about 350 miles to a tank, 28mpg. I drove it to Portland Maine a couple times and back. It's def. a fun car to drive. I hate to see it go.
