what do i have to do to put a first gen 4g63t in my 95 gst, or is it bolt in and plug up directly? ive been told different things and need to know this asap

Its fairly easy if you have the necessities.

The mod to the timing belt cover they are talking about is to clear the 2g motor mount, you must cut it out.

I used a bench grinder for cutting the motor mount.

You can use a 1G coil instead of playing with the 2g and making it work. I just swap the wires over or just bolt the 2G coils to the 1g mount. The coils don't bolt directly but if you look at it it will go.

The MDP you can leave unplugged (to vacuum) on some cars. I just leave them sit under the 1g plenum if it codes hook it to vacuum.

The transistor mount I bolt it to the top of the intake plenum with just one bolt. Or you can pull the wires out of the harness more and mount it where you can find.

The only thing about the swap I don't like is the fact that the tensioner tool can't be used anymore.

I think thats about it.

guys i appreciate the help. ive been trying to figure out wether or not to rebuild my 1g block or keep trying to find a 2g block

The one that screws into the back of the motor mount through the timing cover. That bitch saves tons of time if you have to do something like cam gears or anything that doesn't require removal of the timing cover.

Sounds like he already has a spare 6 bolt.
