Well the time has come, I would like to get this car done pretty soon now, and its becoming apparent that im not gonna have anywhere near enough time to finish it with full time school and work. So im in need of someone to get my car running as well as some exhuast work and I/C piping.

Im mainly interested in the wiring/starting issues getting fixed, the Exhaust and I/C can come anytime later

Must fall into these categories

- Have references for their work
- In the Nova area or RVA
- Not have outrageous pricing

Not really looking for a shop to do the work, unless they can cut me a good deal on price - 90% of the job is diagnosis


Ive already searched and looked at the shop list, and Ive contacted a couple of local shops, just looking to see if there is anything else out there that someone may know of that I dont.

finish it yourself slacker! haha. Talk to me when you get a chance, I might have room for it soon. If not I know someone (actually 2 people) who I'm sure can figure it out, just dunno how much it's gonna hurt the wallet.

 

ISP, SRT, PFS... I know they all know the 2jz very well, but it might cost a bit. Of those I have heard great things about ISP and PFS, however, I would only go to SRT for dyno tuning. People are starting to finally realize just because Mo at SRT can tune the snot out of a 2j, it doesn't mean SRT is great. Their customer service is crappy and their parts and services are over-priced.

Dave over at Function Tuned was also alright in finding some issues that a members n/a-t had. Wasn't the best as he mostly deals with 350z/g's but definitely sourced the problem and got it running better than any of us could.

 

I had work done at PFS, great work, but I paid out the ass and waited forever. I was constantly being deprioritized by 'bigger' projects.

Dave at Funtion:Tuned is not a faggot I have seen him in action with a white girl, but he is awesome at finding wiring problems and his troubleshooting skills are really good.

He is fair on pricing, not sure his hourly rate. He is all about customer service .
