any one got any ideas ? got an 96 acura integra with a j-spec block in it jus put it all 2gether and have a check engine light on and the scanner reads out crank sensor b fault no signal . and cuz that light is on the car wont crack vtech . supposedly im hearing that the j spec block does not have crank sensor and the u.s. spec block does , also im hearing that the dizzy has both crank and cam positioning sensors in it and that i need to replace it . im kinda lost and wonderin if any body else has had this problem and or has a fix for this problem. oh yah also tryed a j spec computer and had same issue . please help

If you're talking about the crank fluctuation sensor, the JDM engines don't have it. That's not the same thing as the crank position sensor. We have no idea what engine you have though, so it's tough to make assumptions about what your engine would or wouldn't have.

The crank and cam position sensors are in the distributor.

If you've tried a JDM ECU and you're getting the same problem, I would assume that you probably have a wiring issue (no connection between the ECU and sensor) or a distributor problem (bad sensor).

thanks . im new to the world of hondas a few of my buddies are in to these things . i originally bought this car to flip but it has grown on me . once my girl gets home ill get the info off the block but i think its the 1.8 v tec b 18 c . ill know for sure in a couple hours . thanks

engine is a dohc jdm gsr 1.8 vtec. engine code is b18c . found the bypass info on google thanks that was a lot of help ill get to it when my woman gets home thanks
