Honda Accord Overheating Problem...
My wifes accord has recently started overheating, and it is an odd problem that i have never ran into or ever heard before...her fan does not work when the car is running but as soon as the key hits the off postion it cuts on...you turn the key back on it stops, it's weird, and if you run the heat it heats up quicker? thats the really weird part...if anyone has a f'n clue let me know!

Re: Honda Accord Overheating Problem...
i should probably just talk shit, but one day out of the blue my old accord (260k, original everything pretty much) started overheating on the temp gauge, but everything was cool to the touch. turned out to be a bad thermostat. you should check the thermostat, coolant hoses, radiator, and lastly the HG.

Re: Honda Accord Overheating Problem...
thanks for all the replies, i'm going to work on it some this weekend, i was also thinking a relay problem or a sensor problem, maybe i have one of the sensor wires reversed, i've seen that on accords before, if those don't check out it's toggle switch time!
