1984 Monte Carlo SS For Sale/ Great Project Car
1984 Monte Carlo SS for Sale $4,500 obo
Serious inquiries only.
This is my first time here so please bare with me. I have owned this Monte Carlo for about 2yrs now after it was given to me by my father who originally built it from the ground up. It has a slightly rebuilt engine (block went to speed shop, new piston rings, new timing chain, new harmonic balancer, replaced gaskets) that we did this summer and a fully rebuilt transmission that was done last winter. This motor only has 56k miles on it. The car is in decent condition with a few cosmetic issues, the passenger front fender is dented from a vehicle backing into it at the parking lot, and the paint on the roof has started to peel, measures have been taken to prevent rusting, a scratch has been patched up on the hood and primer, the paint on the trunk is also showing some blemishes, there is also some paint chipping visible on the front and rear bumpers. The car runs well and i use it as my daily driver, just inspected a few months back. Currently does not have the air pump installed due to my last location not requiring any emissions. Can include if requested. Interior is clean except for one small crack on the dash. Stock temperature gauge does not work and have installed a Summit Racing 270 degree gauge. Heat gets HOT but the A/C isn't working very well, currently do not have serpentine belt attached to it. All in all this car is in decent condition and a great project car that doesn't need much to get it in tip top shape. But with college, bills, and rent I just cant afford it right now.
-Rebuilt from ground up
-Frame from 1987 Monte Carlo SS w/ 1984 Body
-Chevy 305 V8 4 barrel carb with 56k miles
-200 R4 4 speed Automatic transmission
-373 differential
-Power windows
-Brakes & tires in good condition
Have a few more pics with some more angles in case u would like to see more, just ran out of room.
