What do you need to know?

And I advise you to stay away from 72Nova, he has smoked a few too many crack rocks and thinks he is a fire fighter.

Looked at your profile, Im goin to to take a wild guess and you want to know what it will take to put a turbo on your ranger?

www.40bob.com

Intake manifolds and header are your friend...

Dont need a BOV right yet...

Go on ebay and look for a "NPR Intercooler" or "PowerStroke Intercooler"

Then find someone selling a To4e .50/T3 .63 stage 3 - the only down side to installing a new turbo is that is when you need to worry about injectors and EEC... which is where the money comes into play... you can get an easy 300hp with just bolt ons...

www.gillisvalve.com just get the cheap 45 dollar brass one

You are goin to want to find a t-5 with a hydralic clutch out of a 87-88 TC to match with your ranger system...

I dont know if you need to swap out the eec for the merk engine or not.. and I dont know if the merk is an auto..

Overboosted.com went under.. so the 3" dp isnt being mass produced, Ill try to find the link for you somewhere.. and after that you want a 3" piping all the way back.. with a race bullet or anything else that you are able to look straight through.

Sorry if I came off as a dick in any of this.. I have just been into the engine for a while now and know it fairly well to a point.. and have seen hundreds of combo's proven and proven to suck... If this didnt help you out ask me what you want.. and Ill be here to help... and I want to talk about this "merkur" you got... I dont want you tearing apart a perfect condition running merk when I can get you the engine and everything you need for the swap to the ranger with out hurting a beautiful machine.

Hey thanks alort for the info, Im not really trying to find out what it takes to put the motor into my truck, I have a good idea on that already.

Im really just looking for some info on what works and what doesnt when building that motor, its going to sit on a stand for quite some time before it goes into my truck, I am going to do the swap right, and by right I mean, EVERYTHING is getting changed and I am going to buy all the parts that I want/need before I put it in.

Hit me up again on AIM if you get a chance, I fell asleep on the couch, been a long day.

One of my close friends dad took one of those turbo motors out of the T-bird and is dropping it into a early 90's ranger....should be a fun little truck.
