Default Advice on '02 Z28 exhaust...

I'm planning on getting an '02 Camaro Z28 in the very near future and wanted to know from other owners of 4th gen Camaros and anybody else with $.02 (you know you're out there) what the best exhaust system is. I like the sound of the flowmasters, but wanted some other opinions. Additionally, I'd need to know where to get it installed and who has the best price. My garage isn't conducive to doing my own work and I don't have the tools to install just a muffler (no welder and such). I might be able to do a full system that bolts in like the SLP Loudmouth. Anyone got a Loudmouth?

i would go with the SLP 2 On the Left exhaust, prolly one of the most efficient mufflers to get, sounds really good on an LS1, or you can get the SLP Loud Mouth, pretty good just to damn loud for me, or just get a cutout, cheap and only loud when you want it... sounds good too....

i've heard a lot of good things about Oceana muffler. they did a custom cat back on my friends ride, and on another friends Jeep. if you bring them the muffler, they'll do all the custom work. they are really inexpensive too. he got a 2.25 from the headerback, for like $200

Muffler king on Jefferson did mine. I bought a 35 dollar dynomax race bullet from summit, had them cut my old one out and put in dual turn downs to look like a V6. The dynomax was put Fwd of the axle along the drive shaft. I have a grand total of 160 dollars in the exhaust including labor. Pretty loud too but not raspy. Muffler King does awesome work. Ask for Kevin and let him know what you are looking to do.

Loudmouth is very loud........just like the name says. I loved mine on my LT1 SS, but its not for everyone. It IS the exhaust for you, if you want people to hear you coming before they can see you.

Mufflex with a Spintech muffler sounds awesome on the LS1, especially cammed. And actually the Borla and the Corsa sound pretty cool on the LS1 also.
