my roomates tranny just went out on him last night in his camaro. i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get one rebuilt for a good price or if anyone has one for sale. thanks.

theres a Mr. Transmission on warwick that im sure will be able to help you out. there are th350s for sale all over the place though. pick up a trading post, i bet there are 5 or more for sale. what are the specs on this camaro?

thanks for the info, i'll pick up a tradin post today after work. he's got an lt1 with a (busted ass) th350,3 grand stall, cold air, programer, flowmaster with no cat and thats about it.

dang interesting choice of transmission for those mods. are you sure he swapped in a th350? 4th generation camaros (93+) came with 4l60e's which tend to break when they make a lot of power. th350s are pretty ballsy transmissions though. why did he choose to go with a 3 speed with those mods? most people dont switch over to a th350/th400 until theyre making assloads of power.

i have a th400 for like 150 if you want it, it was rebuilt but has been sitting

i dont really know that much about domestics but i think he said the original tranny was a 700 and he went through 3 or 4 of those when he first got the car and his friend hooked him up with the th350 for cheap. i'm positive he's got a th350. i'm not exactly sure why he decided to go with the th350 though. i think because its supposed to rugged and cheap to rebuild.

yea unless you are making alot of power or the th350 or th400 are definite overkill, they are stronger but i believe only the 700r4 has overdrive

Check out Bucky's Transmission in Virginia Beach, right off of Witchduck road. Real nice guys and do a hell of a job at trannys.
